Lecture by Lord David Alton
25th January 2018
Lord David Alton will give a lecture entitled Legislating for Life in St Bride's Hall on Thursday 25 January at 7:30pm. Lord Alton was formerly a LIberal Oarty then Liberal Democrat MP and was made a Life Peer in 1997. Since then he has sat as a crossbench member of the House of Lords.

He is known for his human rights work and for his strongly pro-life positions and resigned from his position as Chief Whip to campaign (unsuccessfully) for his private member's bill which aimed to stop late abortions.
