Parish Mass for Pope Francis and Young People sitting Exams

25th April 2025

Mass for Pope Francis and for Young People sitting Examinations

“May the Lord grant a fitting reward to all those who have loved me and who continue to pray for me. The suffering that has marked the final part of my life, I offer to the Lord, for peace in the world and for fraternity among peoples.” Pope Francis

The Parish Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis will be celebrated on Monday, 28th April at 7.00pm.

This Mass was originally booked as the Annual Mass for all those sitting examinations at this time. As Pope Francis had a great love for young people, therefore, we have decided to combine both intentions - to pray for Pope Francis and to pray for our young people sitting examinations. Some of our young people will lead us in the celebration of the Eucharist. All parishioners are invited to this Mass, but particularly our young people and their families.

Pope Francis, once while addressing young people said:

“The very first words that I would like to say to every young Christian are these: Christ is alive and he wants you to be alive!

Tea/Coffee afterwards.
