The Parish Pastoral Council consists of 15 members Including the Parish Priest.

The term of office is 4 years.

The Parish Pastoral Council has recently been re-constituted. (October 2024)

The Parish Pastoral Council met on Tuesday, 4^th February 2025. The following points have been noted:

Based on Chapter 5 of ‘Divine Renovation; From a Maintenance to a Missional Parish’, we are looking at ways of transforming the culture of the Parish Community with a focus on hospitality & welcome;
We intend to involve other sub-groups in our discussions and plans;
It is hoped that the author of Divine Renovation, Fr. James Mallon will visit the diocese in June;
At each of the weekend Masses on Saturday 15^th & Sunday 16^th February, a speaker will address St. Brigid’s congregation promoting the Alpha Experience;
Cards will then be handed out inviting parishioners to participate in the programme by registering through a QR code on the card or by a similar QR code on a banner in the front porch;
Interested parishioners will be encouraged to invite a friend to the sessions;
The Alpha Experience sessions will begin on Thursday, 20^th February;
Leaderships skills are being successfully developed through the various parish groups, for example, the Women’s Prayer Group and the Monday and the Friday morning Men’s Prayer Groups;
The St. Brigid’s Day Lecture, delivered by Bishop Alan McGuckian SJ, in the parish hall, was attended by almost 300;
