Food Bank

SOUTH BELFAST FOODBANK

St Brigid’s Parish Pastoral Council has agreed that we will join other local churches as a donor to South Belfast Foodbank, which is part of the Trussell Trust UK-wide foodbank network. These Foodbanks provide emergency food to thousands of people nationwide every year.

There will be a collection of food monthly. Non-perishable food items can be donated at all Masses on the first weekend of each month and a list of preferred items is available in the porch.

As the Year of Mercy approaches, Pope Francis says; "It will be a way to awaken
our conscience, too often grown dull in the face of poverty”. Thank you for your support.

FOODBANK COLLECTION will take place on the FIRST WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH in the Church Porch
